Question EXP40 Problem
Since upgrading a client's T46G phone to V80, on the EXP40, we've lost the red led when a call is parked. Prior to the upgrade, when a call is parked, it lit the red led on the corresponding button on the EXP40.
Now, it does not.

The led IS WORKING properly on the T46G.
The led IS NOT working properly on the EXP40.

In my office, I have tested this with another T46G and EXP40.
In my office it DOES WORK, but at my client's site, it DOES NOT work.

The only difference I can find is that the client's EXP40 shows an older firmware than the one in my office.

Client's site:
EXP40 1 Hardware Version - 66.0.0.0
EXP40 1 Firmware Version - 6.16.0.0

My office:
EXP40 1 Hardware Version - 66.0.0.0
EXP40 1 Firmware Version - 7.16.0.0

In autoprovisioning, this is being used:
features.blf_led_mode = 1

Can you help?

RE: EXP40 Problem
Hi,

What's the V80 firmware you upgrade to? V80 is not released offically, it should be a beta firmware.
So the issue only occurs after upgrading? What's your pbx server.

Regards,
James

RE: EXP40 Problem
V80 was given to me by Yealink to resolve another problem.
To be specific, it is 28.80.0.20.rom.

As I said in my post, I have phones in my office with the ONLY difference in the EXP 40 firmware.
the server is Asterisk.

RE: EXP40 Problem
Hi Christopher,

28.80.0.20 is a beta firmware.
The V80 GA firmware of new T2x and T4x will be available very soon(in the two weeks). You can get it in Supports->Documents and Download area that time.

Regards,
James

RE: EXP40 Problem
we realize it is beta.. and we are still in beta writing our full software support in our PBX product for Yealink endpoints.. (we have our own XML programs and auto-configurator for our product).. and we wish to also Beta test with the Yealink Beta firmware so that we can be sure our software is compatible at the same time we Release the Yealink Endpoint support. we are not looking to GA your beta firmware to our customers except for possibly a very controlled field test until our software and yealink firmware passes tests.. we just feel its foolish to release out V73 firmware as our initial release and then have to go through and upgrade / re-rest for V80..

Hi Christopher,

The V80 firmware have been available now.
We are completing related doc and then release them. If you need I can send them to you in advance.
What's the phone model you need?
