RE: Loading the configuration every time after reboot
(05-19-2022 08:06 AM)goodtm Wrote:  Hello. I have a question. I have the Auto Provisioning function configured in the Endpoint Manager module, Asterisk Freepbx. The function is working. Configurations of the mac address type are uploaded to phones. If the phone is reset to factory settings, it will receive the configuration after switching on. If in the future I change something in the settings via the web interface (for example, disable the extension (account), then after restarting the account will remain disabled. I thought that after the reboot, the configuration would be downloaded again and the account would be enabled, but this is not the case. Even if you forcibly click on Auto Provisioning from the web interface, the account will still be disabled. The situation can only be corrected by sending the configuration to the phone via Freepbx Endpoint Manager. Question - How can I make sure that rebooting the phone loads the configuration from the tftp server every time?

Setting auto_provision.custom.protect = 0 and weekly configuration loading via static.auto_provision.weekly.enable = 1 (or Repeatedly On) also does not help. The configuration will be loaded on reboot, something is changed in the mac configuration on the tftp server. Or I can force the configuration to be sent to the phone via the endpoint manager module in asterisk freepbx

There was a similar question earlier, but it seems it remained without a solution http://forum .yealink.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=43824

Hi,

As far as I know if there is no configuration change on the server side, the phone will not download the configuration file.

Kind regards,
Frank.
