T46G: Power LED always flashing when backlight is off

Travis, I just had a look at the screenshot you attached. Can you explain what the two settings mean please?

Hi,

If you set as the screenshot, the power saving LED light will be turn off, and if you set 100 on these two options both, the light will light for 100ms and dark for 100ms, if you set them 0 both, the LED light will always ON, is it clear enough for you?

Since updating my phone the light no longer flashes but the LCD doesn't go completely dark, it seems to still be very faintly lit.. Hi Jazzy,

here it works. LED is flashing only on missed calls and new voice messages AND the screen of the phone will go dark on power save mode.

I hope this 3 attachments will help.

Thanks Werner1959, I have the settings the same as you and the LCD it still lit, as I say it's very faint, you can't notice it during the day but at night it's more obvious.. I've attached a picture where you can kind of see it lit up..

Most time I look at the phone during daylight or when in office all the lights are on. In the night I sleep instead of regarding phones Perhaps sometime I should regard the display of the phone in the night and check this out.

I do not really know and I did not tested it, but perhaps setting "Unused BackLight" from "low" to "off" or setting "Active Backlight Level" to a lower level will bring better result for you?

It's working perfectly on T48G with 0 light time and 3000 dark time (I left it as 3000 because that's the default).
