T46G: Power LED always flashing when backlight is off

We are not seeking a mainstream release, we are seeking an interim release, to fix a BUG introduced by Yealink.

It would be simply outrageous if customers are forced to wait a year to fix a breaking change that Yealink introduced unilaterally, and which is clearly causing problems for the installed client base.

Do you have phone_setting.backlight_time enabled?

With backlight timeout mode enabled, the phone blinks at the "missed call" rate, as soon as the phone reaches unused timeout.

For me, this happens regardless of the features.power_saving.enable setting.

Yes I do actually. Here are my possible related settings:
features.power_saving.enable = 0
phone_setting.missed_call_power_led_flash.enable = 0
^ Im thinking this may be why it does not do it for me. Note that it still shows the missed calls on the phone and on the clock screen saver too!
phone_setting.active_backlight_level = 9
phone_setting.backlight_time = 300
screensaver.wait_time = 1800
screensaver.type = 1
screensaver.display_clock.enable = 1

Yes, posters in this thread are complaining that there is no way to distinguish the flashing light indicating missed calls, from a flashing light indicating power-saving and/or screen-blanking mode, so presumably they all have missed_call_power_led_flash enabled.

The reason for the complaints is mainly that this is a breaking change (BUG) for people already using missed-call LED flashing, and was implemented unilaterally with no option to disable or configure.

I have not T48G, "only" T46G and there was the last firmware without this bug the T46-28.80.0.130.rom.
The T46-28.81.0.15.rom from 01.11.2016 was the first firmware with this bug.

The newer firmwares:

T46-28.81.0.20.rom
T46-28.81.0.25.rom
T46-28.81.0.27.rom
T46-28.81.0.41.rom

I tried out, but the bug is still within

Where (on which specific URL) you can find the firmware you are searching for, I do not know, sorry.

the file T48-35.80.0.130.zip (inside is T48-35.80.0.130.rom)

and try out if this solve the problem for the moment.

But I hope, YEALINK will solve this problem generally in newer firmware soon. I for myself will not make a downgrade only for bug "fixing".
