W70b will not connect with RT30

This seemed link a simple deal. I need to install a W76P cordless/DECT with an RT30 extender. Everything I read says it is simple, until the very first step.

Every time I do that I select RT30 the handset says I need to reboot. I do and nothing changes. I can't get the repeater to register with the base.

If I just set the base in registration mode (top LED flashing), Hold the link button on the Rt30 but nothing happens. It stays with the power green, dect flashing red, and relay off.


Any ideas what I am missing here?
