T29 Wallpaper
I have set up our company logo for the wallpaper on the T29 phones. However, employees keep changing them. Is there a way to delete the default images or force disable users from changing them.?

This is Johnson from Yealink technical support team. Nice to work with you.

Yealink phone support User Level Access feature, you can hide wallpaper through this feature.
Configure two parameters via auto provision. The auto provision syntaxes are as follow:
#!version:1.0.0.1
#Enable or disable the 3-level permissions (open var); 0-Disabled (default), 1-Enabled;
#Require reboot;
security.var_enable = 1
#Require reboot
web_item_level.url = https://xxx/WebItemsLevel.cfg

WebItemsLevel.cfg should include wallpaper parameter, please refer to below:
display_wallpaper = 3
Note:
Value instruction:
0: User level display
1: Var level display but user level will hide
2: Admin level display but user and var level will hide
3: Do not display on any level and hide absolutely

I have attached the configure files and guide for you.

RE: T29 Wallpaper
So if I'm using 3cx in the cloud do I just need to host this webitemslevel.cfg locally? I don't see where I can store one on 3cx. Also I don't see a guide.

Hi,

You could create and store the webitemslevel.cfg on the 3CX host path:
C:\ProgramData\3CX\Instance1\Data\Http\Interface\provisioning\<secure_name>\
then setup the parameter as follows:
web_item_level.url = https://IP or FQDN:5001/provisioning/<secure_name>/WebItemsLevel.cfg

Hope this will help.

Kind regards,
Frank.

RE: T29 Wallpaper
I failed to mention it was a cloud hosted server. I went ahead and buried it into one of our hosted IIS sites and it's working fine. The only place on 3cx I see to upload a file to store it there is templates but not sure if it would even work there since it adds .xml to everything. If the way I did it is the only way then I'm still happy and it works.
thanks
