I have the same problem. I just installed two T48G phones and have one BT40. The phones work fine. I installed the BT40 on the first phone and had the same popup message "No found bluetooth adapter!" Next I took your suggestion and tried the BT40 on the other phone, and have the same error message.

The phones are on 35.72.0.6. The phones don't seem to recognize the BT40. This is not a pairing or bluetooth compatibility issue, as we don't even get that far. The phone doesn't think the BT40 is there.

What should I do?

Any suggestions. It's been a few days and I need to get this resolved.

Pleaser upgrade the frimware to the V73 Beta version and try again. You can get the firmware from this Announcement.

V73 Beta version firmware release

If the BT40 still can't work, I think the BT40 is defective.
So please contact your vendor or distributor do RMA. I think they will be so glad to help you.

We upgraded the phone to V73. The BT40 works fine. We have an ERA by Jawbone Bluetooth device, and it supports multiple connections. We can use the ERA for both the T48G and iPhone. Only one ear piece!

with the new fw the same behavor no bluetooth found

but i cant believe it that the dongle is defekt as i wrote when i put into win7 pc it works Huh

please confirm your firmware already upgrade to the V73 beta version.
Press the Ok button you can see the firmware version.

If the issue still exist, as you mentioned, The BT40 can't work in your all T46 phones. Generally, all T46 phones can't identify the BT40 dongle.
Please contact your distributor for help. I think they will be so glad to help you to judge is BT40 or phone is defective.
