T22P display backlight lights up every 2 mins

For some reason, only known to Yealink, the .50 firmware was removed from the website. In the meantime, I can confirm that this firmware fixed the problem with the backlight. Hopefully, it will soon make a reappearance.

It fixes the backlight - but breaks redial (amongst a few other things). That's probably why it's disappeared *shrug*

Any word on the fix for this backlight issue yet? I wouldn't mind someone sending me the .50 update as my clients don't use redial.

I really need an update for both T28P and T42G phones as they are both having this issue.

Anyone got the files and willing to send them?

Note: it's not just 'redial' that's broken in .50 (history is another problem)

I'm having this same issue on T26Ps, using the latest version of the Firmware on the website - 6.72.0.30.

When will this be fixed? And why is it taking so long to fix it?

I am getting a lot of complaints about this issue.

Downgrading to .25 is the only answer atm.

Thanks for letting me know. It's amazing that it's been 6 months since this was reported and it still hasn't been fixed.

It really isn't a great advertisement for Yealink.

I know. Version .50 was rushed out to cure the backlight issue, but a whole raft of problems came with it.

Maybe it should have been marked as Beta (or Alpha even!)
