T53W not accepting config_dsskey_length? Did this get removed?

Hello,

On the T42X series you could apply override features.config_dsskey_length="1" for extended labels. This would automatically disable the time/date/extension number display and instead extend the DSS keys to fill the space.

This is a very useful feature especially when 8 characters isn't enough.

Was this removed? It appears to not be working in

95.84.0.99 or in 96.85.0.5

Hi Tim,

This parameter still exist in the latest firmware release.
Lets say: I have the T57W and have this setting.

I think you have to remove the quotes around the 1
The parameter setting must be:
features.config_dsskey_length = 1

Hope this will help.

Such extended mode is only supported in all color screen phones. Since the T53W is the black-white screen, we apologize that such a feature is not supported on it
