Dial Plan-RingCentral-AreaCode - jgooding - 11-07-2024 11:13 PM Ring Central requires putting the area code in all numbers dialed. I thought I could avoid this with Dial Plans that insert area code before 7 dialed digits. See attached. But they are not inserting the Area Code. This is my first foray into this area so I would appreciate some help. If you press 1234567, the dial rule prepends 352 and the phone dials 3521234567. If you enter the number directly, including the area code, can the number be reached? But if I dial the number without the area code, it doesn't enter the area code (and in RingCentral, that means the call does not go through). (Account 1 is registered with RingCentral?) I deleted all my Dial Now Rules (Replace, Dial Now, etc) and am just using the Area Code Dial Now rule. See attached. It now works!
