Model T42s and T42g, the speakerphone is enable on incoming calls - Lissvazquez - 07-26-2023 07:42 AM Our university has a variety of Yealink models. In the case of the t42s and t42g models, several cases have been reported in which lifting the handset enables the speakerphone by itself, and pressing the button ends the call. We tried to update the firmware to the latest version on both models and it seemed to be corrected but as the days passed the situation repeated itself. I don´t have pictures/videos RE: Model T42s and T42g, the speakerphone is enable on incoming calls - complex1 - 07-26-2023 05:58 PM (07-26-2023 07:42 AM)Lissvazquez Wrote: Our university has a variety of Yealink models. Hi, What firmware version are the phones running when the issue occurs? Which firmware version fixes the issue? If the issue occurs again after a few days, what is the firmware version of the phones? For example in two cases we had T42G 29.80.0.70 -> 29.83.0.145 T42G 29.80.0.70 -> 29.83.0.120 In both cases the problem seemed to be solved but they reported again. Hi, After the firmware upgrade has fixed the issue and after some time the issue returns, what is the firmware at that time? Still the updated firmware or rolled back to the previous (29.80.0.70) version? You can also try resetting the phone to factory settings, re-provisioning to see if that fixes the issue. RE: Model T42s and T42g, the speakerphone is enable on incoming calls - Lissvazquez - 07-28-2023 04:50 AM I have the firmware 29.83.0.145 and I also tried that, to send all to the default values. Another problem seen in these devices is that when you lift the speaker, it does not give a line, both when you want to make a call and when you take it. For example in the video shown below, I tried to captured a specific moment because this situation happens 1 of 10 times. Hi, I've watched the video a few times, especially the beginning where the issue occurs, and it seems that the hookswitch is not functioning reliably. This issue cannot be solved with a firmware update, simply because the hookswitch of this unit is a mechanical switch. Maybe the phones are still under warranty / support? |
