T46S Remote phonebook update to local phonebook. T9 Search - UCUC - 06-28-2021 07:37 PM
Hi,
i have read that it is not possible to do a T9 search on a LDAP phonebook.

So i created a phonebook xml with the phonebook generation tool. (xls file)
in gui on t46s url:
Directory -> local directory is empty (no contacts)
Directory -> Remote phone book 1: URL: http://aaddress/remotephonebook.xml NAME: TEST
Directory -> settings Remote and local phonebook Enabled.
when i go to my physical T46s in menu, directoy and selected remote phonebook. i can see the phonebooks name TEST. but when i update i get an error. cannot download remote phonebook.
The phonebook is placed on a local webserver. i can manualy download and view the phonebook bij accessing http://localhost/remotephonebook.xml
How can i get this to work?

Dear customer,
First, our latest firmware for T4S can support T9 search now. Here is the latest firmware:
Note: after update the firmware, please set parameter"ldap.search_t9.enable=1"

Second, if a remote phonebook can't download on the latest firmware too. Please follow the steps from FAQ and provide the diagnose file to me.

Sorry that parameter is not clear. It is ldap.search_t9.enable=1

At this moment we are running firmware: 66.85.188.4 (Dutch language)
When importing contacts, localy T9 search is working.
What is minimum firmware requirement for "ldap t9 search" to work?
Is firmware 66.86.0.17 also available in Dutch language?
