T26P background noise - ceramirez74 - 07-26-2015 10:56 PM

Hi there,

I just installed a few T19P, one T41P and one T26P IPPhones and the customer immediately started to complain about a background noise that is mostly present at pauses talking and calls to PSTN, however, is also present in between extensions calls in lower intensity, i just compare the codecs on each ip phone and they are in the following order:

PCMU
PCMA
G729
G722

Also in the Yeastar Standard series is as following:

u-law
a-law
GSM
H261
H263
S263P
H264
G722
G726
G729A
SPEEX

I just chaged the Max delay from 240 to 300 in the Yealink jitter buffer parameters and now are as follows:

Type: adaptive
Min Delay: 60
Max Delay: 300
Normal: 120

The Firmware release are:

T19P: 31.72.0.75
T26P: 6.73.0.50
T41P: 36.72.0.55

I would like to have a recomendation or best practices in order to avoid this background noise.

Thanks in advanced.
