SIP-T26P double beep

You are hearing the Voicemail reminder beep. It makes this sound each time the light is lit for the voicemail key. It will make the sound again on all phones that have voicemail messages when doing an asterisk reload... it will also make the sound each time the phones check for messages if you have the MWI Subscribe turned on. It can be a nice reminder, but it's mostly annoying.

These are the instructions for the T26 series (and I believe the other T2* phone models)

"Go to the webpage Phone -> Tones and set the country as "Custom" then you will find a parameter named "Stutter"
set it to be zero and confirm your setting"

This is covered on the Yealink UK forum. The UK forum has some good info on it, but since they started the US forum it doesn't seem like anyone posts much to it.

The T3* series has a similar fix, but you set Message instead of Stutter. The ability to shut it off is also broken in certain firmwares. see links below
