Picking up a call does not display Caller's Name
Hello,
My setup includes an Asterisk 16 instance with a T53W (96.86.0.70) and a T27G (69.86.0.27).
When a call from "John Doe" <123> comes in and one phone starts to ring, I'm issuing with the other phone, different commands to pick up the incoming call.
1. When I pickup the incoming call pressing a BLF key, I can read "John Doe" and the pickup dialing string on my phone screen. John Doe is isplayed using large letters. Dialing string is displayed with small letters.
2. When I pickup the incoming call dialing the pickup sequence with my phone keypad, I can't read any name on my phone screen but I can read pickup dialing string. Dialing string is displayed with large letters.
3. When I pickup the incoming call dialing the general pickup sequence with my phone keypad, I can't read any name on my phone screen but I can read the general pickup dialing string. Dialing string is displayed with large letters.
At least, pickup works as expected (interceptor can talk to callee) but caller details are lost depending on the used process.
Strangely, SIP signals seem to be the same when comparing 1, 2 and 3: Asterisk replies with 200 OK to Pickup INVITE message. This 200 OK reply embeds a P-Asserted-Identity header with full details on caller (ie name and number).
Asterisk also sends an UPDATE message embedding full details.
A. Can you reproduce this ?
B. Can I change phone settings to get caller's name displayed in all cases ?
Best regards
