Initiating a call on pc using the device for the conversation

Dear reader,

We are anticipating a switch to MS Teams combined with direct routing and devices like MP54 connected to a pc.

There is one question though for which I did not find an answer in any documentation of Teams or the Yealink device;

Is it possible to initiate a call using the software on the pc and manage the rest of the conversation on the Yealink device?
