So far no resolution, over 15 handsets at one client office have this issue.

I know this is a very old post, but I am having the same issue with several MP56's, and have to find an answer. This happens fairly regularly, and the only way I have found to fix it is to reboot the phone altogether, and that is a problem because with the passthrough ethernet it drops the user connection to the network as well. Did you find a solution?
