As long as you have enough call paths available.
I use primarily 3cx and Grandstream UCM with a VoIP Provider.
However, in a prior life, I did use a Patton Gateway and we did this...
So if you have more than 1 phone line available it should work fine.
1 for the inbound call - and 1 for the newly created outbound call.
