it seems to only blink for a missed call it does not blink for the voicemail and i do get the notification on the screen of a missed call. Soon as i clear the message for the missed call the light stops flashing. I never get a notification on screen of voicemail either.

Sorry. Please set this voice mail settings as my below steps.
1. press Ok button when the handset is idle
2. Press Voice Mail
3. Set Voice Mail and choose the account
4. Enable this status
5. Then the handset can accept voice mail message now.

ok so i tried this and could not do this as i was getting a message Line Status - No Matched Line...i found a post where someone talked about this "features.direct_ip_call_enable=0" needing to be a 1 not a 0. so i fixed that then i could what you said above. my question is now that if ixed the "features.direct_ip_call_enable=1" how do i set the steps you have to happen from the configuration file? I have tried the manual but have not found it yet.
