How to add 8 before every call

I have a PBX that needs an 8 before every call for an outside line. Also when they hit reply I would like it to add an 8. Right now they have to press 8 before every call and reply from the call history does not work because it does not enter an 8 also. Does anyone know what I can do to make this work?
