Call Return
Hi

I can't get a DSSKey to work for call return.

I've configured as per the documentation, when I press the key, the phone shows the CLI it's calling, but nothing appears to happen.

Looking at the SIP Logs on the PBX, no INVITES (or anything else) is received from the phone.

Am I missing something ?

Thanks

RE: Call Return
Important question. The DSS key option you are referring to is the one listed as "ReCall" in the options list, or are you referring to something else?

RE: Call Return
The DSSKey is Call Return, not ReCall - I don't have an option for that.

Thanks

What model phone and firmware are you using, because I can't find any feature that offers "Call return" in the DSS key settings so now I am curious. Smile

How very odd. I can confirm this feature is definitely not in the list of DSSkey functions on any of my T46G handsets with the below hardware and firmware versions...

Firmware Version 28.80.0.70
Hardware Version 28.2.0.128.0.0.0

Perhaps this feature was removed in the latest firmware because it was problematic and that could be why it is not working for you?

The closest thing I have in my list of options is "ReCall" (See attached screenshot) and this simply dials the number of the last incoming call the handset received. Is this the behaviour you where expecting to see?

I feel we probably need an official Yealink comment on this.

RE: Call Return
The feature I was looking for it to redial the last number I called.

Not the last number in to me.

Thanks

My guess is that this has probably been removed because there is a physical hard key at the bottom of the phone that offers this functionality. It is down by the speaker phone activation button.

To instantly redial the last number you just dialled, press the redial hard key twice rapidly. One press will take you to your dialled call history, two presses will redial the last call you dialled. Note that if the phones dialling history is disabled in the settings, this will not work, just as the DSSkey option will not work.
