143 has multicast so I don't see why 168 wouldn't.
However, without a release note document, I won't be installing 168.

So I downloaded and installed it on one of my phones and as they say Curiosity killed the cat, or in our case multicast paging. That makes no sense why would 3cx no have included the multicast paging in a new release that is specific to them.

Maybe they moved it?
Are you loking for the listener or the action?

I do not think this is something 3cx would have killed... as 3cx is not even required to use Multicast paging. It is an open standard...

The listener, we are using 3cx for the paging, but I read the other day, we could just use the yealink phones. I checked everywhere and couldn't find it.

1) The listener was under contacts last I looked
2) I prefer to use a key on the phone to take all the work off of the server - even if it is just the slightest.
-- The paging action is done using a DSS key in this manner

Ya, its not there in the new firmware, I was one of the first to install the .143 version. I checked the other screens, couldn't find it, tomorrow I will get someone to send a page to see if it still works based on the provision file.

RE: 38.70.0.168 (Supported by 3CX Phone System)
We got lucky and they created a custom firmware last May 2012 for us that had Multicast in it. I told them I was cancelling my order of 1000 phones and going with another vendor. They took the bait.

-> I tried manually visiting the page and it is not in the firmware:
