Longer DTMF Tone for call bridges T26P
Hi - we are using a phone Bridge where you have to enter the Conference lines and Passwords by DTMF - quite common I think.

Now it seems that the "Beep" is too short since we do get lot's of Errors where the "beep" (= Number) is not recognized or not correctly recognized.

Is there a way to extend the Duration of the DTMF "beep"?

We are using the T26P phones.

Hi Markus,
Do you mean the beep tone when you press DTMF button? Or the beep after the server recognized that the DTMF you input is wrong?
If this tone is from server, this need the server support.
If you mean the DTMF tone when you press the button, sorry currently we don't support to extend the duration of this tone.

I mean the duration of the beep when you press the button itself. This beep is very short and sometimes not recognized correctly or at all by our conference Bridge. Very frustrating...

Hi Markus,
1.Sorry currently we don't have such setting to make the beep longer.
But we didn't hear such issue that because of the beep tone is short of DTMF button, that the system can't recognize them correctly.
2. What's the firmware are you using on your T26P? 6.70.0.140?

3. If the problem is still, could you provide PCAP trace, syslog(level 6) and config.bin file to us, so we can analyze why the conference system can't recognize the DTMF?

Before you export the syslog, please set log level as 6, and reboot the phone, then click Start,and reproduce the issue, then click Stop,and export the trace, syslog, config,bin to us.
(About where to export these files, please refer to attached screenshot.)
These three files are very important for us, hope you can kindly understand.
