Hi!

First of all, I've just migrated my job's old telephony system into VoIP with Elastix and ~25 Yealink Phones (T28, T22 and some T20). We are (by the moment) very happy with Yealink phones

I've seen in other VoIP phones brand the possibility of adding a system language via a XML file. New language is added to the languages list. (Concretely it is a Thomson ST2030).

This function would be very useful for

1) To improve actual translations (For example, there are some minor errors in Spanish translation).

2) Create new regional languages. In my case, Catalan (A language spoken by +11M people in Catalonia). Phone users will be more comfortable seeing phone messages in their mother lang. (Or will help improving sales...).

Will see this in future firmware releases?

Hi Anigwei,
Currently you can custom LCD language(which is already existed in our phones) via auto provisioning.
For more details, you can refer to our auto provisioning manual(page 12 "Customizing a LCD Language"):

Please get the Spanish language template as the attachment.
As we said, you can just make the existed language, but can't create a new language.

We deployed new VoIP system with more than 80 yealink phones (T22, T26, T28 and T38G) and would like to make modifications to polish translation of LCD's.
Can you please give here or privately polish lang LCD templates for all our phones?
