Intercom Beep

We have an intercom extension in our system that allows us to intercom call all extensions or individual. When our desk phones (yealink t26's and t28's) receive the intercom call, there is a tone, then the line is opened via speakerphone. I've not been successful in getting the W52 to do this. Whether the call is directly to this extension or to all extensions, the W52 unit automatically connects but there is no tone first and it is through the earpiece and not the speakerphone. Is there a way to change this to mimic the actions of the T26 and T28s?

I am having this same issue. On latest freepbx, using intercom
Just upgraded to the .28 firmware

When attempting to dial intercom, get busy signal after two rings

Do you mean after you upgrade to firmware 25.30.0.28, there's tones before the phone auto answer, but after this, you get busy tone?
I think it's because the number you intercom is busy. Please check with other account.

No, I now upgraded to .30 and the same occurs.
the W52 handset phone is on the charge cradle
the handset is set to Autoanswer
I use the intercom function in Asterisk (not the built in intercom between handsets) and originate the intercom on my Yealink T22P
The W52 handset rings twice
Then the T22P phone gets a busy indicator after the two rings

In reverse, this works fine.
I use the W52 and intercom the T-22P
the T-22P beeps, then enters into speakerphone mode

Any suggestions?

Well, this may be a clue...
on my T22P phone setup page, there is "accept intercom" flag and it is set to Enabled

There is no Accept intercom setting on the W52 that I can find

So what's your Handset firmware? You can check your handset firmware in below path:
Status-System Status-More-Handset-Software
You should upgrade your handset firmware to 26.30.0.29.rom, and it can support intercom feature.
About how to upgrade the hanswet firmware, you can refer to below link:

I am using even newer
26.30.0.30.rom
Still no luck
