T46 and T48 Keytone
When we call an external number, and offered a IVR menu, Our yealinks (Yeastar s100PBX) doesn't trigger the menu. What could be causing this?

Hi,

In Account > Accountx > Advanced you will find the DTMF Type setting
Please try DTMF Type: RFC2833
It is the signal sent from the IP phone to the network, which is generated when pressing the IP phone’s keypad during a call.

Kind regards,
Frank.

Hi Thanks for your reply.
We are in Australia if that helps.

It is already set to RFC2833 - So that doesn't seem to be problem.
Any other ideas??

Hi,

Have you tried the DTMF types "INBAND" and "SIP INFO" yet?
Also make sure to use the audio G711 (PCMA/U) codec. Another codec may cause problems.

Frank.

Thanks for the suggestion, Worked out it was the Yeastar - The DTMF was set to auto for the trunk, WHen set to RFC2833 , problem was solved.
Cheers
