CPE90 Wired Microphone cable lenght?

We'd like to buy CP960 with CPE90, but mics has cable length only 1.8m.
Is it possible to extend it? If yes, how long it can be ?
I guess we need 6m or so.

No, we are not using this every day, so we afraid to find wireless mics discharged or with dead batteries. Is it possible to power them from AC outlet?

No, but it's stationed on a charging cradle in normal situations. So no need to plug in and unplug to recharge.
