T56A switch from Teams Version to Sip (standard)
Dear ladies and gentlemen,

i bought a new T56A Phone. I see now, that this is a
teams version phone, but i need a normal, only sip, version.
I read, that i need a license to change it to sip.
What is the name of this type of license and what cost this new license ?
I found nothing about that.

You can do it, by using TFTP server and recovery files.
DM me, I will help you if you don't know how to recover the phone using recovery files.

1. Visit license.yealink.com and login to your account / Register account
2. Navigate to License Management > My Application > New Permanent License
3. Choose Type of License: Microsoft Single/Bulk
Please be sure to select Unlock License
4. Input MAC address, Model, and Valid time and hit OK
5. Receive an email with the license
6. Apply the license to the Phone Web Portal
7. Upgrade the firmware to the sip version.

I went through this process to get a few T56A phones working with zoom using SIP. All works except Bluetooth headset. Doesn’t detect the BT41 dongle. Beware the T56A is end of life from 1st Nov 2021. Google and you will find the EOL notice and support policy.
