T54W shows voicemails when there are none.

Hi we have one T54W that shows 1 new voicemail when there is none.
Calling into voicemail says there is no new voicemails, notification on top of screen still shows 1 voicemail and popup shows 1 new voicemail as well.
Phone is on Firmware version 96.86.0.15

What can I do to fix this?

Hi,

Any (voicemail) notifications are usually sent by a PBX or VoIP provider to the phone.
If there is no VM and the phone say there is, then or reset the PBX or contact your VoIP provider, or try first reset the phone to factory default.

Hi, we are using a Yeastar S300 PBX, I can not find where the voicemail is stored or tied to the extension.

Then I suggest resetting the phone to factory default, re-provision it and try again.

I was finally able to have the "1 new message" message disappear by Deleting the extension and then Making the same extension again, and rebooting and resetting the phone to factory settings.

Another thing to look out for is that our 3rd Party Sip Provider as a MWI Notification (Message Waiting Indicator).
Here we tell x101 that its to read the MWI for x150. Now when 150 gets a message the message light on 101 chimes. However, if you were to press the vmail key, it will say 'No New Messages"

Just something else to look at.
