T2xp Firmware differences
What is the difference between the x.73.193.50 and the x.73.0.50 firmware for the Yealink T26P and T22P?

There is no documentation about x.73.193.50 while there is documentation on x.73.0.50

The x.x.193.x firmware was (I think in more recent firmware the normal - x.x.0.x - firmware has the BroadSoft things baked in) a special release to be used with the BroadSoft UC-One platform. See the Yealink support page all around BroadSoft things: https://www.yealink.com/products_47.html

Here is release notes for one such version (not sure if it has anything relevant): https://www.voipinfo.net/docs/yealink/Ye...dition.pdf

Thank you for the link.

So, is it ok to install x.x.193.x even when not on a Broadsoft system like Asterisk?

Why would you want to do it? Just use the normal firmware for that.

I haven't tested it myself but I assume it has some settings only supported by BroadSoft and missing certain settings that BroadSoft doesn't support.

Ease of support because we have clients that use Asterisk and some that use Broadsoft.

I checked another link and it looks like the Broadsoft setting needs to be enabled. bw.enabled = 1

As far as I understand, the latest regular firmware has support for Broadsoft settings and you can enable it.

In the past, the regular firmware didn't use to have this setting so you would've needed the special firmware.

If I'm correct, then you should just use the regular firmware for everyone and enable this setting for the Broadsoft users.

Great, makes sense. Thanks.
I'll test for sure.
