T41P reverts to old provider
A customer had T41Ps on NFON so we factory reset them & programmed them to work on a new provider.
During this CV19 crisis, some have been taken home, and they have been unplugged for a couple of days, upon start up they have reverted to the old provider.
When factory reset, there are no auto provision settings, so are the mac addresses somehow registered with Yealink & pointed at NFONs provisioning server?

Possibly.

Yealink provides 3rd parties access to their RPS playtform.

This platform is reached every time a device is factory reset.

If the phones MAC address is still registered to the old provider, then they will be pointed to that providers provisioning server.

If you own the phone, and have proof of ownership, you can create your own RPS account, and request that Yealink release this MAC from the old provider. Once this is done, you can then ad the MAC to your RPS account, and point it to whatever provisioning server you will need to use.

It's a very straight forward process really. Smile

RE: T41P reverts to old provider
Thanks for the reply

This was the case - I contacted Yealink support who confirmed that the MAC addresses were indeed registered to the NFON RPS - this has now been removed and the phones just boot up as configured.
Having my own RPS is beyond me at present, but I could probably read up on it & arrange it

Thanks again
