RTSP video stream on T58
Hi,
Is it possible to setup a RTSP IP Camera stream on a T58 (or any handset)?
I would like to use a T58 to be able to access 4 ip cameras I have at home.
Thanks
Mal

Almost sure that you can't.

Those IP cams do not have http streams? Because you can easily setup an http stream to launch using the DSS key type Video Monitoring.

Hi, a http would be fine, but I could not get the formatting right.
Do you have any link to something or can give me the format to setup a dss for a URL?

It is the same http stream you would load in the browser to see the stream. It depends in your IP Cam exactly what it would be.

See examples of two cams I have:
Code:
linekey.6.extension = 192.168.1.50
linekey.6.label = 2N Doorbell Cam
linekey.6.line = 1
linekey.6.type = 305
linekey.6.value = http://192.168.1.50/api/camera/snapshot?width=640&height=480&fps=15
linekey.7.extension = 192.168.1.51
linekey.7.label = Akuvox Doorbell Cam
linekey.7.line = 1
linekey.7.type = 305
linekey.7.value = http://192.168.10.51:8080/video.cgi

RE: RTSP video stream on T58
On my VP59 I monitoring an AXIS camera with the following:
DSS Type: Video Monitoring
Value: http://user:password@CameraIPAddy/axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi
Label: IP Camera

The exact URL you need varies from IP camera manufacturers, so you'll need to do a bit of research on that first.

Thanks all for the help.
Looks like I was focusing on RTSP, when http was the easy solution.
