[Feature Request] Possibility to execute daily tasks based on MAC configuration

Hi Support,

we want to raise a feature request for YDMP to be able to create a "Timer Task" to push a configuration to a single device based on the MAC address configuration. This functionality is needed for reception desks, where the employees change several times per day and modify the ringtone volume of the phone or other settings.
We need to make sure, that the configuration is pushed to the device on a regular basis, so that settings are applied which are configured on YDMP for this single device.
Is this something you can take into consideration?

Hi Thomas，

We will add to support Visual MAC configuration for each phone
At that time, you can change the MAC configuration for each phones and trigger the reboot to do the config update.
It will be later of Nov 2019.

Hi Jensen,

thanks for the reply. Yes, we are aware of this possibility to change the MAC config and trigger the reboot. But like I said, this needs to happen automatically for example on a daily basis with a Timer Task. Looking forward to the feature update in late of november 2019.

You could do the opposite and configure the phone to automatically re-auto-provision itself on a pre-scheduled basis?

Under settings -> Auto Provision you can set:
static.auto_provision.repeat.enable = 1
static.auto_provision.repeat.minutes = YYY

Where YYY is how many minutes you want to pass between provision requests. So if you wanted the phone to pull its config from YDM once per hour, set 60 minutes, etc.

that sounds like a great way to achieve our goal, but after testing, it seems that the phone is not picking up the MAC config, which was modified with the two lines

static.auto_provision.repeat.enable = 1
static.auto_provision.repeat.minutes = 2

and uploaded again to YDMP. Even after pressing the "Autoprovision now" button on the T48S, the config is not loaded into the phone.
Only when I go to YDMP-->"Device configuration->MAC configuration-->Push configuration", the settings are applied immediately to the phone. In this case it is the setting "voice.ring_vol = 1" which should be changed. Any thoughts?
