Answer remotely

Hello, Do someone know how to activate the remote answering?
In our company we need to use this function.. but isn't the same as "call forwarding"

You mean to be able to answer another phone that is ringing?

This would probably be a server/system-side thing.

Not completely sure what you mean by remote answering.

If you mean, Phone 1 is ringing and you are at Phone 2 and can hear Phone 1 ringing, then you want to pick up Phone 1 from Phone 2, then that is a type of Call Pickup.

As MongoTEL mentioned, this is dependent on what your PBX system will allow and what your phone is capable of in that system.

There are codes *8 or *88 in some systems that can be used for call pickup. Yealink supports Group Call Pickup but that is also dependent on your PBX system allowing this.

One thing that isn't entirely dependent on the PBX system, is that you can have a phone with two registered SIP accounts. Then you can answer and incoming call or make an outgoing call from either of those SIP accounts.
