Dim Backlight T41P???

Exclamation Dim Backlight T41P???
I just bought a used T41p - everything works except the backlight is very dim.

There was no contrast setting available.

I updated the firmware to the latest available today and it only added a "screensaver" option.

Is there a known issue with backlight brightness/contrast on these phones?Huh

Hi,

The Backlight Brightness or Contrast of the LCD screen of the T41P can not be changed. This is by design.
Only the Backlight Time can be changed in 7 fixed steps from 15s till 30min. Default is 30sec.

Either contact vendor you purchased from (i.e. get a replacement) or see what Yealink says. I would suggest vendor first since it should really be a product swap/warranty replacement.

The backlight is intergrated into the LCD module, so even if you were super daring and tried to fix it yourself there's nothing you can do without replacing the entire LCD unit.
