T46G - Display burnt into screen
Hello everybody,

we are now using twenty-five T46G-phones in our Company for just one week!
How is it possible, that the Display is burnt into Screen on ALL of the phones after just one week without "always on Option" for Screens?

RE: T46G - Display burnt into screen
Hello Dennis,

Do you connect a 100~240V input, 5V/2A output power adapter to phone?
Can you please take some photos of these phones and send it to us. Please also include SN number of several phones.

Regards,
James

RE: T46G - Display burnt into screen
Hello James,

no, we do not connect power Adapters. It is running with Power over Ethernet.

On the photos you can see both cases which are appearing.

First on black Screen you can see shadows of the Icons, and second (bad to see on picture) when you navigate into menu, you can still read the Labels of the Buttons.

You mean product Key? -> 201404151013

Regards,
Dennis

RE: T46G - Display burnt into screen
James,

I've noticed something similar with some of our T29G phones. We also use PoE, and have set them to Always On. We have over 70 deployed at the moment, but only a handful appear to be showing burn in.

The Always On is a nice option, but if it's going to cause screen issues we are going to change them to auto dim. Is this a known issue?

Thanks,

Jon
