T56A Microsoft Teams Edition Firmware

Hi,

We purchased a SIP-T56A Teams Edition handset but the firmware that came with it does not have Teams on it.

Can I please get a link to download the Microsoft Teams edition firmware for the T56A? Currently, only the non-Teams version is available.

Any chance that some beta firmware will be released?

We're currently evaluating MS Teams as a platform and looks like Yealink is one of (if not only) viable desktop phone options so would like to help debug the Teams edition as we are eager to deploy.

We've been successful in deploying the Teams android app on the T58A phones but calling experience leaves quite a bit to be desired: have to lunch Teams and leave it in the background to receive calls, cannot hangup calls through hardware as hanging up the handset will simply change over to speakerphone, pressing the speaker phone button will not do anything, no option to select the default phone app so picking up the handset will automatically open the default dialer instead of teams dialer, etc.

It depends on MS Teams timeline. And we are not sure about the ETA of beta firmware release. You can send request to Ucinfo@yealink.com first, once the phones firmware for Teams is ready, our sales will inform you timely.
