USB call recording
Hi everyone,

I am new to the forums so i hope this is the right place for this topic.

I am trying to setup USB Recording for the T46S and T42S phones.

From what i can tell from the Admin guides there should be a parameter that needs to be changed in the config generator tool 'features.usb_call_recording.enable'. Thing is i don't see this parameter in the config generator tool I am using.

I am using config generator tool version 2.0.0.13. I don't see any newer version of the Yealink site.

Hello !

The provision tool provided is indeed outdated. But you can still use all the fields in the tool to create a template and then manually edit the config file generated to add the line:
features.usb_call_recording.enable=1

Thanks for the advice, now that you have pointed that out to me i can't believe i didn't think of that myself!

I'll test this out and let you know how it went.

Also trying to figure this out.. getting a red X on the top right of the screen when I hit the button. Here is what I've figured out so far:

#This one should turn on the feature.. I read it must be done from a config
features.usb_call_recording.enable=1

#This is to put the button on line button 10.
programablekey.10.type=25
programablekey.10.line=1
programablekey.10.label=Record

Also ready it must be FAT32.. but something is still missing...
