Rainbow Central lights permanently.
I have the following problem. We have a telephone network here with Placetel / Yealink. Under the DSS key you will find the "central" (placeholder of the central input I think). This one is constantly ringing/lightning in the display though nobody is calling. My friend said you could delete this with # 2001 or similar... but he does not remember.

Can someone help me?

Hi,

To remove/delete this key, please login the phone and go to “Dsskey” tab > “Line Key 12-20” and set “Type” of “Line Key 14” to “N/A”.

Hope this will help.

Kind regards,
Frank.

I am not an employee of Yealink.
Dutch is my native language, not English. Apologies for my imperfect grammar.
Please do not send unsolicited PM messages. I will not answer them.

Thank you for your answer, but my problem ist not to delete this button. This button light 24/7 as someone will call on this line, but no one calls at this line. This problem is also not only at one phone, its at all phones in the company. I have add a screen of the config of this button..sorry but I don't now how I can better say it. Sry for my bad English too! :-)

Your don't have to apologize, your English is OK. I am not English either. ;-)

Do I understand it right? Contain the “Value” of “Line Key 14” the company’s Main (registration) Number 777…?
Has this set-up ever worked in the past?
What exactly do you want to monitor?

Kind regards,
Frank.

Yes, it works perfect in the past. It shows if anyone call at the company's main number. The main number is not only linked to a specific telephone, but to several telephones in a large office. If you call this number all phones will ring at the same time. But every phone has his same number too. This has therefore been resolved so that no one can call from external to only on specific phone number. External callers forward by Placetel to the central office number. Only internal can call the individual devices.
I think the goal should be that one sees here if someone calls on the central office. I think in case someone is in conversation and a call comes from outside.

Hi Björn,

If it was working perfectly in the past and you didn’t make any changes, in firmware or other things, then I suggest to contact your provider Placetel. Maybe they have make changes at their side and can help you further.

Kind regards,
Frank.
