BLF Key conflicts
Hello,

We T48G's keeps getting conflicts on the BLF Keys each day. When I reboot the devises the problem is gone and the BLF keys works properly on every devise. Then after a while (not even a day) some BLF's:

- show users "talking" when they are not? eventually after a while it goes to idle.
- doesn't show when users are "ringing or talking" at all while they are.
- cant puck up other phones with BLF while that phone is ringing (probably because of my second point)

This is starting to get a bit annoying. Can Someone plz direct us to a possible answer?
Or tell me what to supply.

Hi,

Are the phones running the latest available firmware?

RE: BLF Key conflicts
Dear Sir,

For your problem, please check if my explanation for you words are correct, if not, please figure out to me:

- show users "talking" when they are not? eventually after a while it goes to idle.
------The "talking" means the BLF LED is red, idle means the LED is green.

- doesn't show when users are "ringing or talking" at all while they are.
------the LED stay in green all the time while the phoen is ringing or talking

- cant puck up other phones with BLF while that phone is ringing (probably because of my second point)
-----What is the status of the LED? Is it green? If the LED is red, it can pick up the call successfully, right?

Please kindly provide the level 6 syslog, config.bin and pace trace when you reproduce the three issue, and figure out to me which file to which scenario.
We will analyze if it is phone bug, or other problem, if it is phone bug, we will
solve this bug.

Please refer to the FAQ to collect the three files:
http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=313

Besides, may i know how many phones you have in total? And how many of them have the issue?

Best Regards
Lucia

Hey,

We have 11 Yealink T48G.
Your explanation is correct. on Case 3 The BLF shows green.
Where do I send these Files? they may contain vulnerable information or not?
These problems are returning randomly on all the phone each day. I have to reboot the Phone to solve the problem temporarily.

Please provide us with a solution. we just switched a month ago and this is not very pleasant for our company.

RE: BLF Key conflicts
Hi Lucia,

I had another problem only with the missed calls. When I tried to call back from the missed call screen on the T48G the call always failed, because on the end of the number the word "@ha.xxxx.be:6060" was added. So I retested to factory settings because I could'nt find the problem. After the factory reset the problem with the missed call was completely gone with the same settings config as before. Is it possible that there are settings that cant be changed from the web interface.

That aside now I hope the BLF conflict also got fixed with the factory reset. I will update this post if the problem is gone or not? then send you the files like you asked.

Thx for your help.

RE: BLF Key conflicts
Hi Lucia,

I spoke with our provider today and they made me upload an config file with these setting below.
The said that it may be because they use "Asterix" something and not "Broadworks".
I don't think that this solves our BLF problems
I also send the files to your mail address.

#Broadworks
bw_phonebook.personal_enable = 0
bw_phonebook.group_enable = 0
bw_phonebook.enterprise_enable = 0
bw_phonebook.group_common_enable = 0
bw_phonebook.enterprise_common_enable = 0
bw_phonebook.call_log_enable = 0
bw.feature_key_sync = 0
bw.directory_enable = 0

I also read on Scott311 thread that this issue has been fixed! When can we expect an update please?
