Register Failed on T22P to MyPBX U100
I'm setting up a MyPBX U100 for a client using PSTN trunking, and Yealink T22P handsets (Firmware version 7.72.0.51, hardware version 5.0.0.61).

I've setup all the required extensions, then through the PBX added the phones (via phone provisioning), and they all added fine, and settings configured in the PBX show up on the phone ok.

However when trying to make calls, I get a "forbidden (bad auth), and I can see that on the phone's account status, it is showing "Register Failed". Can also see that on the PBX status, all extensions are displaying as 'unavailable'. Have tried adding 3 phones so far, and they all have the same issue.

I've confirmed that the details between the handsets and the phones is correct (e.g. name, labels, password etc).

Would greatly appreciate any pointers on what to look at, as on the face of it, it seems like a straight forward process, but I just can't get the handsets to register.

OK Thanks. Have updated firmware on the phone, and it's still not registering, so have created and emailed the diag files through.

RE: Register Failed on T22P to MyPBX U100
Problem has been resolved as per the following:

• On the phone config (under account /register), both "register name" and "user name", must be the extension number.
• In the PBX for the extension, register name must be the extension number as well.

I had everything named as the 'Reception' (as this phone was for Reception), but authentication won't work unless the above 2 conditions are met. This was not in the doco that I could find when I was setting up.
