Base station ringing?
I have a client who has 2 W56Hs with 2 seperate base stations
using them via 3cx, and one works fine..

the other the base station unit intself rings when the phone rings.. i went to the site.. and he is right.. the base station rings SUPER loudly... so loudly he has wrapped it up in a jumper.. and its still loud.

i cant find an option for this on the web interface on my test unit?

This is a first for me.. i may just end up factory resetting it.

I didnt even know this was an option.

The base station is ringing???? Are you sure???
I do believe you, but never hear of this feature.
My customers and I use several bases, but I/we have never hear them ringing.
This is also new for me.

He rang his phone.. and there was a pile of material wrapped up and the pile was ringing and he had the phone in his hand... so it wasnt the phone..

I will be going back onsite and either swap it out or factory reset it.
I didnt have time to investigate.. I knew it was a weird one.. I didnt think there was speakers in the base unit at all.. maybe theres another ip phone in his pile.
Lets only hope.
