Voice delay on call pickup
Hello,

We are running the T46G phones with EXP40 sidecars. These connect back to our Metaswitch. Have had good luck with them until we added the EXP40 sidecar and started to get very slow button responses, button updates not taking place, weird audio issues (codecs) and a few lost calls when transfering.

Adjusting the codecs fixed most call quality but was not perfect. Removing sidecar seem to help.

Only fix was the latest firmware upgrade, T46-28.81.0.70

This firmware fixed everything but has now added a new feature where you pick up an inbound call and there is a 2sec delay. The caller can't hear you nor can you hear them. This does not happen on every call and the call logs (SAS Trace in Metaswitch) does not show anything of note.

Is this a setting that needs to be adjusted or a bug in the new firmware?

Hi Scott

Thanks for your information. So let me check with you:
1. disconnect EXP40, all the issue disappear.
2. after upgrading XX.81.0.70, issue fix but still exist 2 sec audio delay issue.

1. For the issue, may i know how many EXP connected to the phone?
2. May i know many phones in your side? How many phones will have such issue with connecting EXP40.
3. To do more troubleshooting. I need your kindly provide pacp,syslog,config.bin files to me, then i can do more troubleshooting. You need to reproduce the issue so that you can export complete files to me.
For how to export those files, you can refer to the FAQ:

Hi Scott

For the issue, i need to check with you, thanks for any information from you:
1. If you don't connect EXP with the phone, it will not have such issue.
2. After upgrading .70 firmware, it only have call delay issue, right?
3. The issue happened rarely, right?

For the issue, please kindly help check:
1. Do you set BLF or other type on EXP? How many EXP and how many type?
2. How many times will the issue happened? 1 in 10?
3. How many phones have such issue? How many phones do you have totally?
4. To solve the issue, please check and export pac,syslog,config.bin files to me. I need those files from both side. It would be helpful you can export pacp files from server side.

Let me know if any update.
