Yealink T4xS phones double unwelcomed beeping

On the new T4x S version phones the user of the phone hears a periodic double beep, only the version S phones have the problem, the calling party does not hear the double beep.

Any hints or ideas are welcome as its driving some customers over the edge

Hi,

I had the same behavior on my T42S. While the release note does not mention anything, upgrading to 66.81.0.70 (the latest firmware as I was on 66.81.0.11) fixed this double tone.

Before upgrading, I tried disabling all the tones available in config and nothing worked. That tone looked like a hold reminder tone.

Sorry but I guess you'll have to upgrade the phones.
