Autoprovision scenario
Hi,
after the first time the phone is boot and get the autoprovision file
what happend on the second time the phone is boot?
is it all the time defined himself with the cfg file?
what happend if I make change form web interface to device?
and than boot the phone again?
is the cfg file update automaticlly?
or it will get the cfg file again and the changes I made will not be update to file and saved on device?

Is there a check aftrer booting to check if file is new and only than get the cfg file and update the phone?

Thanks.

hi Gilb

for auto provision , the process are like below:

1. phone auto provisioned for the first time
2. phone boot up , at this time, the phone will automatically check whether the cfg file is modified.
3. if it is modified , then the phone will download the new cfg file again
4. if the cfg file is not modified then the phone will not download and change the configuration

so if you don't modify the cfg file ,then the phone will not auto provision again and the configuration you made on local will not be changed!

RE: Autoprovision scenario
1. on power: gets the auto provision file: *.cfg for phone and its mac.cfg

2. on second power: check if there is new auto provision file and if new update other just start up

3. if I make changes on device using web interface or device menu itself

it will update the auto provision mac.cfg file to TFTP folder

and on next auto provision process it will get the new configuration file - mac.cfg

How to implement this?

I set TFTP server = 3CDaemon

it gets the Auto provision file automaticlly

my question is:

how do I set the y000000000044.cfg file?

I set:

auto_provision.custom.protect = 1

auto_provision.custom.sync = 1

still after change in device and reboot phone the file isnt upload / update..
