Yealink phone (W52P) won't charge

We have a Yealink phone (W52P) that won't charge.

The light on the charger cradle doesn't burn when plugged into the socket. Does this mean that the charger cradle is defect? The rechargeable batteries of the phone itself are empty, and when putting the phone into the charger cradle there is no sound, no light. Nothing happens. The phone itself works when putting in other batteries, so that doesn't seem te be the problem.

If the charger cradle is defect, is there somewhere where I can get a new charger cradle?

Hi Pieter,

I think your power adapter is defect.
What you can try to do is use the base power adapter (is the same as cradle PSU) to check if the handset will charge. Also check if the light on the charger cradle is on.
If everything is ok now then you have a defective power adapter.
In every Electronic shop (e.g. Walmart) you can buy a power adapter with the right specs. (5V/.6A)
If you are living in the US search Internet for “SIPPWR5V.6A-US”

I've tried the base power adapter, but still the light on the charger cradle doesn't flash on. So I guess the power adapter isn't the problem, but the cradle itself. Is there a way to fix the charger cradle?

I don't live in the US, but in the Netherlands (Europe).

I don’t know if you can buy only a cradle without a handset.

Is the W52P still under warranty?
Or contact Lydis (Dutch Yealink distributer). Maybe they can help.
