Strange BLF LED behaviour since Firmware upgrade
We recently upgraded our T46G and T27P to new firmware releases.

T46G: 28.81.0.20
T27P: 45.81.0.20

Since the upgrade we noticed a strange behaviour on the phone displays. The Free/Busy status with the green and red LED can be seen just fine, but if one the numbers receives a call, all LEDs from all BLFs are flashing red and the display is waking up from sleep.

BLF LED Mode is set to 0. Any ideas? Or is it a bug and we just have to wait for a new firmware upgrade?

RE: Strange BLF LED behaviour since Firmware upgrade
Hi Sir,

About your problem, please use the parameter below to do auto provision:

features.blf_active_backlight.enable=0
##It enables or disables the IP phone to turn on the backlight or stop the screen saver when the BLF/BLF list status changes.
#0-Disabled
#1-Enabled

If the problem still exist, then please provide the level 6 syslog, config.bin and pace trace when reproduce the issue to analyze.

About how to get the three files, please refer to the FAQ below:
http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=313

Also, how many phones you have in total?

Best Regards,
Lucia

Hi,

You can’t find this parameter in the web interface.
It’s only changeable through auto provisioning.

Kind regards,
Frank.

Thank you for the info, complex1.

I configured all my phones with the web interface manually. I tried to read the "Auto Provisioning Guide", but that exceeds my knowledge of english language and my technical skills. No chance for me to work with.

@Yealink, is there a chance, that in future all parameters will be accessable and changeable with the web interface?

Dear Sir,

You can refer to the attachment and then import the test.cfg via the web site. I will send the test.cfg for you by email, since i can not upload it here for the format limit.

Besides, there are so many parameters and if we put them all in the web interface, it will be so complex for users to find the function that they want to configure.

Best Regards,
Lucia

If I do import a test file, then the configuration of the phone is lost. I could reimport an exported configuration, but it seems, it is not possible to export as CFG. Export of CFG does not work, I think. There are empty files.

Please have a look on the picture.

Export of BIN-Files does work.

RE: Strange BLF LED behaviour since Firmware upgrade
I chose to export All-Settings-CFG on my T46G and was able to add the line from Lucias config file (thank you!). But this will only disable the wake up of the display when there is a call on another phone that is registered to my BLF function.

The main problem - all LEDs are flashing red if one of the configured phones receives a call - is still there. It wasn't there, however, on earlier firmware versions.

For example - if I flash version T27-45.80.0.95 on my T27p then the proper BLF is flashing when the other phone receives an incoming call. Going back to the latest firmware shows the explained problem, that all BLF LEDs are flashing if ONE configured phone receives a call.

I just traced it and attached is the log file from my T46G, currently running 28.81.0.20.

I have 1 x T46G and around 10-15 x T27P in our office.

I have 7 BLFs configured, all of them use the phone T27P. I am the only one with a T46G. Only phones with the recent firmware have the problem.

HI Sir,

I can not find the trace and the log, can you please send the level 6 syslog, config.bin and pace trace to Lucia@yealink.com.

To make a comparison, please kindly provide the file when the BLF work normally(earlier firmware versions) and abnormally(latest firmware).

Thank you for your information in advanced.
