Line key LEDs
Hi all,

Just wondering if the following is possible.

When a DSS key is used for a line, the led does nothing. I know the status of the line is expressed with different screen icons, but would it also be possible to use the line key led to express extension status? For example, flashing orange for registering, green for registered, red for in use, etc. The LEDs make it a lot easier to see the status of the phone very quickly from a distance.

Sorry, currently Line key don't have a fucntion showing extension status.

Hi James,

Could this then be moved to the wishlist please? I would like to see more uses for the line key leds, even perhaps being able to set them on an ad hoc basis from the web management. I know this can be achieved via the API, but it would be nice to be able to statically assign the leds for other dss types, such as speed dials etc.

Agree that the DSS key LEDs could be better utilised.
Currently if a user is on the phone we can see the red light.
However if that user is unavailable due to DND nothing shows up, have to find out after you ring or transfer a call through.
