T48G Microphone sensitivity

Hi there
Is it possible to adjust the T48G microphone level on handsfree as recipient can
only hear if voice is no more than 60cm from microphone.

You can adjust the playback sound level via Volume key.
If you set the highest, it can't be higher any more.

Normally, 1 meter still can hear clearly the sound on microphone.
You can't hear clearly far more than 60 cm for all calls?
How about other phones?
