T20 click sound when picking up handset

We are having a clicking sound when we pick up the handset after the call has connected.

scenario
1. make a call through the speaker phone
2. call connected
3. pickup handset (loud clicking sound heard by other party)

This sound is caused by the spring loaded switch hook. Anyway to mitigate or remove the sound? Thank you.
